Tom Walker, President
Mr. Walker is a co-founder of Expressions of Joy and serves as President and Chairman of the Board. He is also a Director of South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary and Broward Right to Life. Tom’s passion is for bringing biblical truth to the public square, particularly through the arts. He is a Bible Teacher at First Baptist Church of Deerfield Beach and a Sidewalk Counselor bringing the Gospel of Life the very gates of the abortion industry. His wife Rosario is an Event Coordinator for the Service Corps of Retired Executives and their daughters, Isabel and Marina, are both EOJ alumnae.
Denna McDaniel, Vice President
Mrs. McDaniel is the founder and Director Christmas near the Beach in Hollywood, Florida. This holiday extravaganza began as a small church outreach on Hollywood Beach and has grown into a regional celebration which is the model for EOJ’s arts outreach. Her background includes radio and television production, writing, public speaking, hosting her own request show on a local Christian radio station as well as, event coordination. Mrs McDaniel holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma. She has extensive experience in body-building, ice-skating, choreography, mime, and dramatic interpretation. Denna has served as a dance instructor at Expressions of Joy, and an Adjunct Professor at Barry University. She’s currently a Zumba instructor, who also teaches many different fitness styles including, Pilates, Step, Bosu, Boot Camp Circuit, Barre, Cardio and more at Memorial Fitness and Rehab Centers. Mrs. McDaniel and her husband Mickey have four children. She home schools their youngest two children, while the other two are adults. The McDaniel family have been members of Palm Vista Community Church since 2009.
Josiane Geyer, Executive Director
Mrs. Geyer is co-founder of Expressions of Joy serves as Creative Director. She has provided leadership in all areas of choreography, instruction and production over the last 10 years. Josiane Geyer began studying dance, music and drama at the best generic viagra age of ten in Santa Catarina, Brazil. She was called to use her art for Lord and has been sharing that vision ever since. Josi has been certified to teach the Vaganova ballet method by John White, author of Advanced Principles in Teaching Classical Ballet. She has performed for many years at Fort Lauderdale Ballet Classique under Mrs. Magda Aunon and directed EOJ’s School of Ballet for ten years. Josi currently teaches at The Astrid Audet School of Ballet and at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale where she worships with her husband Rick Geyer and their sons Caleb and Justin.
Alexandra Grant, Secretary
Alexandra Grant began dancing at age four in Kingston, Jamaica. In the U.S., she trained at Ballet Etudes where she performed in professional productions including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia and Giselle while studying Dance Education at New World School of the Arts and Florida International University. Alexandra is also a dancer/choreographer for the Emmy Award- winning Fort Lauderdale Christmas Pageant. She is a member of First Baptist Church of Fort
Alison Davis, Director
Mrs. Davis has been dancing since she was three years old and began teaching ten years later. She taught at Expressions of Joy from 2006 to 2011 and now teaches at Calvary Christian Academy. Alison’s training includes sixteen years at CSAD and Pro-Am studio in Pompano Beach where she was extensively involved in competitions and touring. Mrs. Davis danced with the Miami City Ballet in 1991 (The Nutcracker) and Young Broadway Stars in 1993 and 1994. Alison attends Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale with her husband Tony and their three children.
