Tom Walker, Executive DirectorTom Walker

Mr. Walker is responsible for administration and marketing and provides spiritual leadership for the studio. He is a Director of South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary and has served as a Post-abortion Counselor for First Care Family Resource Center , a Campus Guide for First Priority South Florida and a Teacher/trainer for Evangelism Explosion. He is a member of Boca Raton Community Church where he first became involved in the performing arts ministry. Mr. Walker is married to Rosario Walker and has two daughters, Isabel and Marina, both EOJ! students.

Maurice Adderley, Expressions of Joy Creative DirectorMaurice Adderley

Mr. Maurice Adderley teaches Modern/Contemporary Dance. At a very early age, he began dancing as a member of his local church’s dance ministry.As a result of his effectiveness in ministry, despite the fact that he had no formal training, Maurice realized that he truly had a gift. Fixed on becoming one of the next great tap dancers, he was exposed to tap, ballet, modern, and several other dance forms by Ms. Diana Dunbar at the age of 14. He began teaching and performing as a semi-professional while still a student. He continued his dance education and exposure through various studios, schools of dance and dance intensives such as Alvin Ailey and others. Additionally, Maurice was fortunate to have the opportunity to study African, flamenco and various forms of ballroom dance.During senior high, he was invited to dance with the Tony Large Dance Company. Mr. Adderley has also served as founder and co-founder forboth dance schools and companies. Extensive travel throughout Europe also added to the versatility of his dancing.

Mr. Adderley and his wife, Bridgette, are active and devout members of M.E.C. Ministries of Pompano Beach, where he also serves as a leader of Divine Vessels of Honor, a ministry of dance. He will continue a leadership role here at EOJ School, serving as creative director and Sondance Ballet Theatre Assistent Director.

Mrs. Geyer provides leadership in all areas of choreography, instruction and production serving as Sondance Ballet Theater Creative Director and Expressions of Joy Assistent Director. She began studying dance, music and drama at the age of ten in her native Brazil. She grew up in Santa Catarina, a Brazilian state known internationally for its cultural sophistication. There she studied under Mr. Vladimir, a demanding teacher with an eclectic approach to dance. His approach demanded work in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical and HipHop styles. Josi had the privilege of studying under Mr. Vlademir and performing in the Santa Catarina Dance Festivals for many years before coming to the United States.

In the United States, Mrs. Geyer directed, taught, and danced with The Joy Foundation. She has served as choreographer for Highlands Christian Academy musicals as well as other independent productions and Schools.

As the Assistent Director for Expressions of Joy, Josi Geyer has directed and choreographed all major student/teacher productions in the past. She has taught many workshops and seminars (including the 2007 and 2008 seminar of the National Dance Association of America, Step Up and Palm Beach Community College Summer intensives) as well as participated in performances for outreach. Josi prepares students to take the ministry of dance to many events in the community.

Josi's own training continues at Ballet Classique in Fort Lauderdale under Mrs. Magda Aunon and Mrs. Erica Atwood (Sondance ballet theatre’s ballet mistress).Josi is currently dancing with Sondance ballet theatre as well as participating in intensive camps and conferences such as Ballet Magnificat and others.Josi's desire is to continue in learning so she may give more to what God has called her to do.

Josi is married to Rick Geyer, IT Director for Highlands Christian Academy and Grace Baptist Church where both are active members.

Alison Davis, Dance Ministry InstructorAllison Davis

Mrs. Davis teaches Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop and Ballet (pointe). She has been dancing since she was three years old and began teaching ten years later. Her training includes sixteen years at CSAD and Pro-Am studio in Pompano Beach where she was extensively involved in competitions and touring. Mrs. Davis danced with the Miami City Ballet in 1991 (The Nutcracker) and Young Broadway Stars in 1993 and 1994. Her husband Tony Davis, also an EOJ! performer, attends Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale with Alison and their two children.

Mary Kathryn Paradice, Dance Ministry InstructorMary Kathryn

Miss Paradice teaches Ballet, implementing technique from theVaganovaandCecchetti methods of dance.  She has trained withaccomplished teachers who danced with New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, and the Royal Ballet, as well as many other major companies. Miss Paradice began dancing professionally in 2004 with Columbia City Ballet, under the artistic direction of William Starrett, performing such ballets as the Nutcracker and Cinderella. Under the guidance of Deborah and Mary Buttner at the International Dance Academy, she discovered her passion for teaching. She has taught beginners through adults, as well as choreographed and directed for ballet productions. Miss Paradice is a founding member of Sondance Ballet Theatre, and is continuing her training with Magda Auñon in Fort Lauderdale. She is an active member of the church meetings held in her parents’ home, and wants to glorify the Lord in both her dancing and teaching.

Erica Atwood, Sondance Ballet MistressErica Atwood

Mrs. Atwood is the Ballet Mistress (directs, teaches and rehearses dancers) for Sondance Ballet Theatre. She has trained at Magda Aunon's School of Classical Ballet, Harid Conservatory and Centro Pro-Dana Havana, Cuba where she Received Professional Dancing and Teaching Certificate.
Erica professional dance experience started in 1995 with Ballet Classico de Havana - Havana, Cuba - Director Laura Alonso with Le Corsaire, Flower Festival at Genzano, Coppelia, Don Quixote, La Sylphide, Gisselle, Swan Lake, Napoli, La Fille Mal Garde and Romeo and Juliet. In 1998 she was with Dance Alive - Gainesville, Fl - Director Kim Tuttle. Erica was the special guest for The Nutcracker as a Doll, Snow, and Arabian Pas de duex. In 1999 Erica was with Ballet Quad Cities - Illinois - Executive Director Joedy Cook, and in 2005 she had Leading roles in: The Nutcracker, Carmen, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella Coppelia, Peter and the Wolf and original works by Artistic Director Johanne Jaklehn, Chairished, White Slate, Flickering Blue, A lead role in Seven, a ballet by guest choreographer Dominic Walsh. Erica started teaching ballet, pointe and variations in 1999, she choreographed for many performances including "Born to Die" presented by Living Passions Studios and The Three Little Pigs for a collaboration of Opera and Ballet for kids, music by Mozart and lyrics by Opera Quad Cities. Dancers were from Ballet Quad Cities youth company.

Denna McDaniel, Dance Ministry Instructor Denna McDaniel

Mrs. McDaniel teaches Aerobics, Mime, Drama and Hip-Hop. She assists EOJ! in marketing and special projects. Her background includes radio and television production, writing, speaking and event coordination. She has extensive experience in body-building, ice-skating and choreography. Mrs. McDaniel home schools their four children with husband Mickey McDaniel. All are members of Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church-OPC.

Michael Ruiz, Dance Ministry Instructor Michael Ruiz

Mr. Ruiz teaches Salsa including Casino (Rueda) and LA-style. He has studied and/or performed with Salsa Caribe, Latin Beat, Salsa Lovers and Edie the Salsa Freak. Michael is a Graphic Design student at Sheridan Technical Institute and a member of the technical ministry at the Church of Pembroke Pines

Mark Fenton, Dance Ministry Instructor Mark Fenton

Mr. Fenton teaches Hip-Hop informed by martial arts. He holds a 2 nd degree black belt in Tae kwon do and has studied Kung Fu and Aikido as well. He is also a swimming coach with Swim America. As a dancer Mark has performed extensively with Platinum Gold and Lawrence of Florida. He is President of the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Florida Atlantic University and serves at Parkridge Baptist Church in Coral Springs .
