Statement of Faith

We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and

Holy Spirit. And that God is omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent and all-loving. We
believe that the entire text of the Bible, old and new testaments, as found in the original
languages, is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, the only infallible rule of faith and
practice.We believe that God created all that exists from nothing and is actively sovereign
over all things. We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and

thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is eternal
separation from God and which is the state into which all persons are born. But that

God¡Çs sovereign plan provided a means of reconciliation.We believe that Jesus Christ is
the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and

is fully Man and fully God. He is the Messiah of Israel presented in the scripture as our
means of salvation. We believe that Jesus took on human flesh in order to serve as the

only unblemished sacrifice capable of atoning for the sins on the whole world; that he

died on the cross as that sacrificed and rose again to demonstrate His victory over death
on our behalf; that he ascended bodily into heaven where He intercedes on our behalf

until His physical return in power and glory.We believe that the salvation provided
through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is received by faith, by trusting in Him alone as Lord

and Savior. And that this gift can be neither earned nor lost through our own efforts.We

believe that in this age, God manifests Himself through the Holy Spirit, who is a distinct
personality, eternally coexistent with the Father and the Son, whose basic task is to

convict sinners, regenerate those who believe, and empower believers to live godly lives
and in every way glorify the Father and the Son through His indwelling presence.We

believe that believers remain in the world primarily to implement the Great Commission

given by Jesus to make disciples of all nations; that the Church is the primary means of

making and teaching disciples; that all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are members of
His one international, multi-ethnic and transcultural body called the Church. Its unity is

displayed when we reach beyond racial and denominational lines to demonstrate the

Dance in Scripture

The bible has many examples where the act of dance is used to worship God, to show joy
and gratitude, or to celebrate what God has done. In obedience to His word, just like
playing instruments and singing, we are to dance. And many times they are mentioned
together in scripture.

We also use dance to bring the message of the gospel - the message of salvation!
God gives the gifts and passions according to His will for each one, and expects us to use
it for His glory and purpose.

The following are a few examples of dance in the scriptures along with the Hebrew
translations and their meanings:

(4234), Mahol = dancing, round dancing, dances (hospitality, praise and worship, healing,
thankfulness).

?Psalm 150:4 Praise him with the tambourine and dance, praise Him with stringed
instruments and flutes!
?Psalm 149:3 Let them praise his name in the dance, let them sing praises unto him with
the timbrel and harp.
?Psalms 30:11 You have turned my mourning in to joyful dancing, you have taken away
my mourning clothes and clothed me with joy.
?Judges 11:34 Yiftach's daughter danced for joy at his return.
?1 Samuel 21:11 alludes to the children of Israel praising David their king by dancing and
singing songs of his heroic feats
?Jer 31:13 The young women will dance for joy and the men old and young will join in
the celebration. I will turn their morning into join. I will comfort them and exchange their
sorrow for rejoicing. Yirmeyahu {Jeremiah 31:13} shows us that GOD'S redemption
causes His people to dance with joy.
?Jer 31:4 I will rebuild you my virgin Israel. You will again be happy and dance merrily
with tambourines.

?2 Samuel 6:14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might wearing a priestly
tunic. Sh¡Çmu¡Çel Bet {2Samuel} 6:14-15 describes how David led the ark of the covenant
into Jerusalem when he "danced and spun around before Adonai wearing a linen ritual
vest. So David and all the house of Isra'el brought up the ark of Adonai with shouting
and the sound of the shofar"

(7540), Raqad = to skip, to jump, to dance, to leap.

?Ecc 3:4 A time to cry and a time to laugh, A time to grieve and a time to dance.

(4246), Mehola = circle, around dancing, dancing//celebration.

?Exodus 15:20 Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron¡Çs sister, took a tambourine and led all the
women in rhythm and dance. Miriam sang to them: 'Sing to Adonai, for He is exalted!
The horse and its rider he threw into the sea!'

THE GREENHOUSE INSTITUTE

Tom Walker, Chairman and President
Mr. Walker serves as Executive Director for Expressions of Joy, the flagship ministry of
the Greenhouse Institute. He is employed as a Personal Banker for Wells Fargo Bank in
Pompano Beach. Tom is a Director of South Florida Bible College & Theological
Seminary and has served as a Post-abortion Counselor for First Care Family Resource
Center , a Campus Guide for First Priority South Florida and a Teacher/trainer for
Evangelism Explosion. He is a member First Baptist Church of Deerfield Beach where he
serves on the Finance Committee and in the Children¡Çs Ministry. Mr. Walker is married to
Rosario Walker and has two daughters, Isabel and Marina, both EOJ alumni.

Josiane Geyer, Secretary
Mrs. Geyer is the Creative Director of Expressions of Joy. She provides leadership in all
areas of choreography, instruction and production. She has directed choreography for the
student productions at Highlands Christian Academy and Coral Springs Christian
Academy. Josi is married to Rick Geyer, IT Director for Highlands Christian Academy
and Grace Baptist Church where both are active members. Their son Caleb was born in
2009.

Maurice Adderley, Director
Mr. Adderley is President of Win-Win Solutions, computer game developer. He is a
member of M.E.C. Ministries of Pompano Beach, where he also serves as a leader of
Divine Vessels of Honor, a dance worship ministry.

Alison Davis, Director
Mrs. Davis teaches Jazz and Tap at Calvary Christian Academy in Fort Lauderdale. She
taught at Expressions of Joy for five years and served as stage manager for all of the
major productions. She is a member of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale along with her
husband Tony and sons Christian, Austin and Joshua.

Denna McDaniel, Director
Mrs. McDaniel is a specialist in mime and dramatic interpretation. Her background
includes radio and television production, writing, speaking and event coordination. She
has extensive experience in body-building, ice-skating and choreography. Mrs. McDaniel
home schools their four children with husband Mickey McDaniel. All are members of
Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church-OPC.
